Were Stars to Burn

How should we like it were stars to burn
With a passion for us we could not return?
If equal affection cannot be,
Let the more loving one be me.

-W.H. Auden

Evelio leaves London. He leaves so much love behind. We are listening to My Blood Valentine, “Loveless”. Before that, before the pub, we were listening to John Peel´s DJ set for Fabric Live. Tequila and Guinness. Cumbia and shoegazing and gales and rain and love and hugs and public displays of affection and Eliot and Auden and drum and bass and more cumbia.

Adiós al muchacho. Until we meet again.

The band at the Faltering Fullback will miss him very much. (Photo by Morris).

Did you go walking in the Lakes? If so, where? The weather can’t have been too good!
