Today Gravity is in black. Grace, of course, in red.
“Till well nigh the day began to spring”, I tell them.
“It’s just for today”, says Gravity. “It’s a matter of fact.”
Silence falls on Earth. I look at her, heartbroken.
Grace busies herself, folds paper,
smiles like someone plotting a crime.
“If a flow in age appear, ’tis but rain,
and runs not clear”, sings Gravity-
then Grace, inspired, joins her in a holy choir:
“Tomorrow do thy worst, for I have lived today.”
Time feels like a water-drop, trembling before the fall.

Conocen el libro de George Perec? Es lo que Delerm está leyendo, se intitula “Je me souviens” y es un ejercicio genial de escritura, empezar las frases con “Recuerdo” o “I remember” o “Ich erinnere mich” y dejar fluir la palabra.

Miriam, no conocía el libro, pero es chistoso, porque un rato de mi vida una frase que me la vivía repitiendo era “I rememba” y ahora me la paso diciéndole a los que quiero ¿Te acuerdas de…? y luego invento alguna memoria común inexistente o presente o muy común… estoy medio loco y estas cosas me gustan mucho….

I Rememba you en el UNAM, Gravity and Grace mirándote con ganas de partir, Gravity se clava en tus ojos, Grace no te mira de frente.
Neto nieva en London? WOW, aquí hace frío pero no tanto como para nevar. Medio aburrido el film de Resnais no te parece? Por cierto, aquí está pasado el film de Schnabel “Berlin” documental sobre Lou Reed, ya les llegó?

No he visto el de Schnabel, pero sí escuché el album. Estára en Junio/julio tocándolo en Londres.
Para nada me pareció aburrido. Muy “francés” (ah, cómo les gusta hablar a los franceses… y TODOS, hasta los estate agents, son existencialistas, me cae), pero para nada aburrido. Me conmovió la película bastante.
